Watching the FSN replay of the '09 USC vs. UCLA contest in which the Trojans were up 21-7 with under a minute left in the game. Then this sequence of events unfolds...

Seeing this as a clear indication of some form of disrespect, OC Jeremy Bates approaches Pete Carroll to talk it over. Pete calls in the play.

*Side Note: Just two weeks prior, Carroll was beside himself after his team was steamrolled by a Stanford team that put points on his Trojans.
