USC Pass Defense-Scott Wolf/Lane Kiffin

I joked with Lane Kiffin last night that the big prize of the season would be whether USC's pass defense (114th) or UCLA's pass offense (116th) would finish ranked higher this season. Kiffin asked me if that was my idea for a bowl game. I told it was and my prize would have the lower-ranked coach fired. He smiled so it's good to see he still has a sense of humor.

I love the dynamic between Wolf, the SC beat reporter for LA Daily News, and Lane Kiffin.

Wolf is a realist. Unlike most in the local media, he asks the tough questions of the coaching staff and doesn't go for the "non-answers" Kiffin often gives to media types.
